Cannabis effectively used to treat autisic boy (video)
Kids, Medical Marijuana Including Individual States, Video November 6th, 2009Cannabis is used as medicine to treat an autistic boy whose mother had nearly run out of ideas to help her 10 year old son. She worked for years with her son’s doctors to treat his severe symptoms, but to no avail. Dozens of different combinations of pharmaceutical drugs were tried, often with damaging results that included liver damage and drastic weight loss. Marijuana was an option of last resort, but clearly should have been considered much earlier in her son’s life because the results are nothing short of dramatic. With luck, many people around the world will hear this story, keeping hope alive for families of autistic children. Such results naturally suggest that cannabis may even help ease the symptoms of Asperger’s Syndrome. National research should be conducted right away. So long as positive marijuana stories continue to see the light of day, there is hope for furthering our understanding of this helpful plant. Please spread the word, plant a seed.
